PHI DRIVE PARTICIPATES AT PROJECT 5E WITH MICRO GRIPPER PIEZO
A new recognition for the piezoelectric micro grippers of Phi Drive
The piezo micro gripper of Phi Drive “GriPhi” and the driver have been selected as Nano-Electronics and Electronic Smart Systems and included in the Digital Showcase of the 5E project, a European digital platform dedicated to the world of innovative electronic components and systems.
“GriPhi” micro gripper are a piezoelectric device suitable for manipulating, collecting and positioning extremely fragile objects such as optical fibers, micro-lenses and electronic micro-components.
The GriPhi driver, for the actuation of the Piezo Micro Grippers, can instead be used autonomously thanks to the intuitive interface or integrated into a system via the RS232 and I2C communication protocols.
Once again Phi Drive is rewarded for its innovative nature and excellence in Europe.
5E PROJECT
The aim of the 5E project is to increase the visibility of European electronic products, which are distinguished by innovation and technology in the field of nanoelectronics and intelligent electronic systems.
To this end, each of the partners will collaborate, through its own communication channels, in sponsoring all the innovative products within the “showcase”.
7 European partners specialized in innovation and services that will participate from France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands:
- VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH;
- MESAP Innovation Cluster;
- Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA);
- Stichting IMEC Nederland;
- Nederlandse Organisatie voor toegepast natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek (TNO);
- Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e.V.;
- Association EURIPIDES.
