Fields of interest include, but are not limited to<strong> military, aerospace and automation<\/strong>. A great milestone of our R&amp;D is the development of a spatial motor that has been awarded of the Horizon 2020 European project.<\/p>\n<p>With the same approach Phi Drive can take care of your projects driving you to excellence\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"pre2pos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pre2pos.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">PRE2POS<\/a> is a European project developed for H2020 in collaboration with <a title=\"Visit our partner website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arquimea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Arquimea <\/a> concerning the industrialization of piezo-based rotary actuators within me mechanisms used in spacecraft.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3988\" src=\"https:\/\/comestero.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/pre2pos-h2020-5.jpg\" alt=\"pre2pos-h2020-5\" width=\"277\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The\u202fmain advantages of the proposed technology were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extremely high resolution;<\/li>\n<li>High torque\/mass ratio;<\/li>\n<li>No need for mechanical brakes;<\/li>\n<li>Absence of gears;<\/li>\n<li>No backlash motion;<\/li>\n<li>Completely oil\/lubricant-free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The primal <strong>target applications<\/strong> of this technology are Solar Array Drive Mechanisms or Antenna Pointing Mechanisms.
