FGAS REGULATIONS AND ATEX PRODUCTS
Air conditioning and eco-sustainability systems
With the regulation concerning the Fgas legislation, the European Union aims to implement a decisive reduction of carbon emissions into the atmosphere and improve the energy efficiency of all air conditioning systems.
- Refrigeration systems and appliances (refrigerators, chillers, display cases)
- Air conditioning systems (air conditioners)
- Heat pumps
The EU regulation provides for a reduction of 79% by 2030.
ATEX products in compliance with FGAS regulations
The producers of the various product sectors in anticipation of the increasingly stringent regulations, are already long been focusing its production and restyle towards environmentally Ecodesign systems, replacing refrigerants GWP (Global Warming Potential).
Given the potential explosiveness of the gases used in modern refrigeration systems, which contain hydrocarubides, the use of products designed for ATEX potentially explosive environments becomes essential.
In this regard, in our catalog we have implemented the following products specifically dedicated to refrigeration systems:
ATEX meaning?
“ATEX” is the acronym for “ATmosphere EXplosive”. In particular, the ATEX regulations, in the area of health and safety, regulate the risk due to the presence of potentially explosive atmospheres.
That is, the suitability of the device and of the protection systems used in it to be used in the presence of a mixture of flammable substances in the state of gas, vapors, mists.
